M Partners, Hackbridge, Surrey, has announced that it has signed an agreement to partner with MGI Technology, the UK company that recently detailed its distribution arrangements for French digital equipment manufacturer MGI Digital Graphic Technology.
The agreement means that M Partners will be able to add the full range of MGI digital printing and finishing equipment to its ever increasing range of high quality print and packaging related products.
Commenting on the addition of MGI equipment, joint managing director Murray Lock said: “We are delighted to be working closely with MGI Technology. The products offer end users a real opportunity to add value to print production. MGI products are not just “photocopier” boxes, they allow printers to differentiate themselves from the ever increasing number of run-of-the-mill digital print producers. The ability, for example, to print onto envelopes, to print 6-page A4 products, or to print onto different substrates such as plastics, are all capabilities that can potentially offer a print business a new and innovative area of production that most digital print businesses cannot even entertain.
“The potential to add value for both the printer and for M Partners is essential. We are certainly not a manufacturer and not a “box shifter”. We must therefore seek specific areas of the digital market place where we, with MGI products, can make a difference and provide a capability that is not always available from other suppliers – something that allows our customers to make money from digital production.”

The Joint Managing Directors established M Partners Ltd in 2006 after gaining many years of industry experience in senior management roles at a major press manufacturer and used equipment dealer.
