Benson Group, one of the UK’s leading privately owned printed folding carton manufacturers, was delighted receive a Commendation for its entry an the PrintWeek Awards 2012 ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, on the evening of October 22, 2012.
Further to being short-listed in the Packaging Printer of the Year category, Benson Group received a certificate of commendation for its entry, adding to a growing list of awards gained this year, which already include winning submissions in the BPIF Excellence Awards and the Best Factory 2012 Awards held recently.
Commenting on the success of Benson Group at the presentation event, Mark Kerridge, Managing Director, who had been invited to attend the evening, said: “It is always a delight to make the short-list for these highly prestigious award ceremonies. To then be effectively named runner-up in the “Packaging Printer of the Year” category is a tremendous accolade for our team, especially when one considers the huge volume of packaging product that we are creating every single working day.”
The Benson Group team is hoping to add further silverware at November’s UK Packaging Awards hosted by Packaging News magazine, where the company is short-listed for three awards.

The business manufactures packaging product at four production sites covering in excess of 400,000 sq ft. The group employs in excess of 900 personnel across all four production sites.
Benson Group creates packaging for many well-known companies, brands and retailers. Key account clients across the Group include Two Sisters Food Group, Reckitt Benkiser, Greencore, and Samworth Brothers. The company is an approved supplier for all of the UK’s leading retail chains.
