Morgana Systems Ltd, Milton Keynes, the UK’s leading manufacturer of equipment for digital finishing, is opening the doors of its showroom for demonstrations of the very latest post-press products, including the new System 2000S, the bookletmaker product first shown at the recent North Print & Pack exhibition. The event will take place on June 11th and 12th at Morgana Systems head office in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Alongside the System 2000S bookletmaker the company will show a full range of finishing equipment targeted at the digital printer, including the DigiBook 450 PUR binder – a product that has received much attention in the UK.

The new bookletmakers provide an extended range of performance variations from Morgana’s current DocuMaster products. With output capabilities right through to 3,000 booklets per hour, and the ability to create publications of up to 120 pages, the products can incorporate side-stitching, creasing, and a number of combinations of sheet and pre-printed sheets collation.

The open house will also provide an opportunity for visitors to see the Plockmatic PL4000 mail inserting system – an ideal system for printers seeking to expand in the direction of mail fulfilment for their customers. The Plockmatic PL4000 is a cost effective modular direct mail inserting system suitable for most mail applications. The system offers a modular concept providing maximum flexibility to meet most direct mail demands, and with the ability to fill envelopes with up to 12mm of documents. The PL4000 can handle most envelope types, including long edge or short edge flaps, from C4 down to DL, and is designed to handle up to 250,000 inserts per month.

Commenting on the event, Ray Hillhouse, Sales Manager for Morgana Systems, said: “With the recent release of the Systems 2000S and the arrival in the showroom of the PL4000 this is an ideal time for us to show off these products to printers keen to expand their businesses. The new bookletmakers provide real points of difference from the equipment that Morgana already supplies, whist the mailing system could offer a new and exciting direction for print businesses to move in. In addition to these, we have the latest version of our DigiBook 450 PUR binder to show. This is a highly productive PUR binder – an area of digital finishing that is growing at a fast pace. We will also exhibit a digital die-cutting solution for those who work with short-run packaging – a great product that really does help to bring packaging into the digital print world.

“Our showroom in Milton Keynes is an easy venue to reach, with the city’s well known convenient location close to the M1 and the main Euston to Birmingham railway line. We are looking forward to a busy two days.”
