Plockmatic International, owners of UK manufacturing company Morgana Systems Ltd, Milton Keynes, and itself a leading European manufacturer of post-press equipment, recently enjoyed a visit of His Majesty the King of Sweden to its Plockmatic Riga SIA production site in Latvia. The visit, which took place on March 27, was a part of their Majesties the King and Queen of Sweden’s two-day State visit to the country.
This State visit to Latvia was part of an exchange of visits between the heads of state and marks the good relations existing between Sweden and its near neighbour. The purpose was to lay the foundations for better personal relationships and increased trade and cultural exchanges between the countries.
Plockmatic Riga SIA was selected as one of the companies to visit during the State visit. Mr Salvatore Grimaldi, owner of Grimaldi Industri (the owner of Plockmatic International AB) participated in the delegation that accompanied their Majesties the King and Queen of Sweden during the two-day state visit in Latvia.
Plockmatic Riga SIA was launched in 2001. It was created to develop both its own market in Latvia, as well as to further develop suppliers in Latvia with a “lean production philosophy” in industry, financing and other sectors.
