The awards were held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel and hosted by CIM, the world’s leading professional marketing body, with a 28,000-strong global membership.

The ceremony highlighted the new face of marketing, with digital innovation and multichannel customer experience at the forefront of this year’s winning campaigns.

M Partners scooped the prestigious Best Partnership Marketing Campaign award for its unrivalled performance in delivering marketing excellence for clients.

Murray Lock, joint managing director of M Partners (above, holding award), said: “We were quite staggered to hear our name read out as the winner! With the likes of Disney, DreamWorks, and 20th Century Fox in our category we didn’t anticipate picking up the award – we were just very happy to be nominated in such esteemed company.

“We are delighted that the UK’s leading marketing practitioners have been able to see our promotion of the “Real Cost of Press Ownership” as both credible and creative. I feel sure that the printing industry will also appreciate this and will be keen to understand the benefits of RMGT equipment in more detail.”

Chris Daly, chief executive of CIM, said: “Professional marketing is a vital driver of business advantage – boosting commercial outcomes and growing talent. At a time when the return on investment and data protection rigour of marketers are under scrutiny, our winners demonstrate the value of creative marketing.

“I would like to offer my congratulations to all who made it to the finals; they reflect the very best in global marketing talent and our founding partner The Marketing Trust who help make these awards possible.”

The CIM Marketing Excellence Awards have been running for nine years and recognise and reward brilliance in the field of marketing, celebrating the finest minds within the profession.

Duncan Smith, Canon Channel Director, Wide Format Group, added: “Companies such as M Partners Wide illustrate perfectly the shape of resellers that this area of the market needs. The company bring significant print market knowledge to the table, with a range of contacts throughout the world of printing that are second-to-none. Head of Sales at M Partners Wide, Gary Doman, said: “This is a great set of wide format products with which to talk to print businesses about.
